Wire Sculpture

My original thought of a design was much more complex. I had a huge detailed pair of sneakers but I chose not to challenge myself too much to I went with something simple. I used a Nike flip flop.

My final product is above. I tried my best with the shape of the shoe but the wire bent a little too much but I didn't pay it any mind. I added yarn to the Nike check because it gave it a little more detail than having it be completely simple. 

This project was harder than I thought it would be. There were a lot of cuts involved and a lot of band-aids but it was worth it in the end.

Who Am I?

I am De'Jon. A twelfth grader who's main goal is to get out of here. I love to dance and to try new things. I like to laugh so there's never a dull moment in my life. My only wish with this course is to learn more about this class and art in general. I have no type of knowledge about are beyond basic art where I left off in 8th grade.
